For the best the Eagle Cap Wilderness has to offer in a short period of time, it's hard to beat Main Eagle Meadows. From fishing to hiking to photography or just relaxing, the diversity of sights and scenery make Main Eagle meadows a must see.

Main Eagle meadows are located high in a classic U-shaped valley formed by ancient glaciers; the valley is walled by beautiful high granite peaks on both sides. Half a dozen nearby lakes offer excellent fishing for trout and Mackinaw. It's a good idea to keep a camera ready because deer come into camp regularly, and you might spot elk as well.

The more intrepid visitor might like to hike up to the top of Needle Point Peak. No special climbing gear is necessary and the view of the surrounding wilderness is spectacular. And don't hesitate to ask your guide to stop at Copper Creek Falls so you can get picture.
