Hells Canyon in Springtime ~ Plan 4 Days / 3 Nights minimum
Hells Canyon came by its name legitimately. A few days spent in Hells Canyon in the summer will have you believing you've died and ended up in the wrong place. But Hells Canyon in the spring is a totally different story. It's a perfect place for spring vacation. The high mountains are still snowed in and inaccessible but Hells Canyon in the spring is amazing to behold. The canyon hillsides are a lush green and littered with wildflowers of all colors. Sightings of deer and herds of elk are common, and it's not unusual to spy a bear or even mountain goats.
The avid fisherman will want to be sure to bring his or her fishing gear, because the Snake River flowing through the bottom of the canyon is one of the Northwest's premier fisheries. It's possible to catch a stringer of bass, change gear and catch a stringer of catfish, and then break out your big pole and catch a sturgeon--all in the same hole on the same day.
As with our other traveling trips; we provide everything, you bring your personal gear and eagerness for adventure. Please allow at least 4 days for this trip, longer if you have the time.
$250.00 per day per person -- Adults
